In today's flight environment most all regional aircraft use some kind of a Flight Management System (FMS). This advanced system is used to operate the aircraft in the most safe and efficient way.

Pan Am International Flight Academy uses an advanced FMS program that replicates all functions of the CRJ-200/700/900 aircraft. The customer will have an option between two programs. The Customer will get time in Pan Am's CRJ-200 FTD utilizing the FMS and the autopilot to see how the two systems work with each other.

All the training is taught by experienced Airline Pilots.

The 1 day course will include:

• FMS Basics
• All FMS operations such as:
  • Building a flight plan
  • Changing the flight plan on ground and while flying
  • Direct to operations
  • Holding
  • Changing departures and arrivals
  • Changing the approach
  • Flying a DME Arc
  • And more.
• Certificate of completion

The 2 day course will include:

• FMS Basics
• FAR Part 121 Dispatch Release
• Performance Planning for 121 air carriers
• All FMS operations such as:
  • Building a flight plan
  • Changing the flight plan on ground and while flying
  • Direct to operations
  • Holding
  • Changing departures and arrivals
  • Changing the approach
  • Flying a DME Arc
  • And more.
• 2 hours in the CRJ-200 FTD
  • FMS and Autopilot operations
• Certificate of completion
