Private jet consultancy Apertus Aviation has been appointed exclusive charter representative for a Gulfstream G200 based in China.

After months of research, the company has demonstrated that demand for private jet charter within China is growing. This cooperation sees Apertus, which provides high level charter management services in Asia, working in collaboration with Beijing Mayboune General Aviation to offer a world-class and reliable experience to clients worldwide.

According to some studies, travel spending in Asia makes up 38 per cent of the global business travel market, with China and USA the top two countries in terms of spending. Nearly 80 per cent of travellers realise the need to meet their client directly or visit onsite. Their companies see that business travel is essential to development.

Apertus MD Ringo Fan says: “At Apertus, we work with a lot of foreign travellers in industries such as construction, entertainment and manufacturing, who rely on business jets in order to travel more efficiently globally. Having the G200 onboard allows us to confidently deliver solutions that meet the global standard on which we pride ourselves.”

Regional representative Jessica Du adds: “The G200 has always been regarded as a stable solid business jet in the market. With a range of up to six hours and capability to land in all domestic and international airports in China, this Chinese registered G200 is the perfect solution for foreign clientele, allowing them to fulfil more domestic routes internally in China.”

The Beijing-based G200 was manufactured in 2000 with a cabin refurbishment completed in 2018. It has nine passenger seats. All flight attendants are experienced in serving private jet clients and speak fluent English.
