Honeywell approves TES for MPIs on the TFE731
TES is authorised by Honeywell to perform minor level engine maintenance on HTF7 series engines and has repair and overhaul capabilities on several other types. It can now work on TFE731 family, performing MPIs.

TES, a Fort Worth, Texas-headquartered provider of field services, engine and APU services and parts services exclusively for business jets, has been authorised by Honeywell Aerospace to perform major periodic inspections (MPIs) on the TFE731 family of turbofan engines. The new agreement provides TES the licence to perform these inspections on Honeywell MSP covered engines. TES also has the authorisation to perform MPIs on non-MSP covered engines.

The authorisation is a long-term agreement and is the continued evolution of TES’ partnership with Honeywell Aerospace. TES is currently authorised by Honeywell to perform minor level engine maintenance on HTF7xxx engines and has repair and overhaul capabilities on the 36-100/150, RE100 and RE220GX APU model types. In addition, TES owns and manages over 230 rental APUs on the 36-100 and 150 model types and exclusively supports MSP covered APUs.

“TES is delighted to receive Honeywell’s approval on such an important authorisation. We have performed TFE731 field service since our inception in 2001 and the inclusion of the MPI authorisation is a natural progression that will be performed by some of the most knowledgeable TFE731 trained technicians. We look forward to inducting these engines into our new state of the art facility in Fort Worth in the coming weeks,” comments Russell Starr, president and CEO of TES' parent company Killick Aerospace Group.
