ExecuJet Middle East will soon take delivery of a pair of long range Global 5000 aircraft, which it will manage on behalf of two customers in the region. The addition of the aircraft to its managed fleet reflects increased demand for such services in the region.

“Along with the growing trend towards ultra long range aircraft in this region, we are experiencing an increased interest in our aircraft management offering in the Middle East,” says Middle East VP Mike Berry. “This success is a testament to our high levels of customer service, safety and quality.”

The company has now been active in the region for 16 years, including 10 years of MRO ops.

Adds Berry: “We've grown tremendously. The ExecuJet entity in the Middle East began in 1999 with just a couple of managed aircraft, but it now employs over 345 people and runs MRO and FBO facilities at Dubai International airport and Dubai South. We've also expanded our FBO network into Riyadh and Istanbul, making a total of four in the region.”

In addition to its activities in the Middle East, the operator is reporting growth of over 10 per cent in its managed fleet in Europe with the addition of four large cabin business jets and one helicopter, all scheduled to begin operations from October through to early 2016.

The latest additions are a Challenger 350, Challenger 300, G650, Falcon 7X and a vip AW139.

Niclas von Planta, VP for Europe, remarks: “This is the eighth Falcon 7X to join our European managed fleet, showing the popularity of this business jet in the region. We are delighted to be expanding at such a pace and it is always exciting to add new types to the fleet. This is the first CL350 in our European fleet and the second CL300, offering charter clients a choice between these two popular midsize jets.

“The Agusta AW139 vip joins one other helicopter in our managed fleet in Europe and is ideally suited to corporate travel. Based in Denmark and with a spacious, quiet and comfortable cabin environment, we anticipate that this aircraft will be in high demand.”

The new arrivals boost ExecuJet Europe's managed fleet to 55 aircraft, a large proportion of which is available for charter.
