Emperor begins midsize ops with Malta-registered XLS+
Emperor's XLS+ will be able to fly all over the EU and benefit from favourable tax legislation, which is good news for the travel plans of its private owner.

Moscow-based Emperor Aviation has taken delivery of a Citation XLS+ for a private owner.

The latest arrival is the first midsize jet in the operator's fleet and has been added to its Maltese AOC.

"We are continuing our progressive development by expanding the fleet and diversifying our services to manage jets from different segments," says Irakli Litanishvili, owner of parent company Aim of Emperor.

"Our high standards of management will now be applied to a new aircraft type. Operating under the Maltese flag will expand the options for the jet's owner, who will benefit from favourable tax legislation and the ability to fly between all EU member states."

Aim of Emperor provides management, charter, fuel, handling, sales and leasing through its subsidiaries LLJets, Quantum Via, Capital AviaNeft, Forpost Aero Service, LIS Trading Group and Fuel For You. The group employs 150 staff across five jurisdictions in Europe, Russia and other CIS countries.
