Keystone Aviation of Salt Lake City has acquired a Gulfstream G200 and G450, which it manages on behalf of their private owners and also makes available for charter when the owners are not using them. The operator currently manages nine Gulfstreams and managed aircraft sales director Charlie Chamberlain says that the latest arrivals are smart buys: “You get a lot of aircraft for the investment,” he tells Business Air News. “From our experience, both the G200 and G450 aircraft types have unmatched performance. Our owners have been very happy with the aircraft and they are both excellent charter machines too."
Keystone runs Part 91 and Part 135 domestic and international operations in the G200 and G450, and last year it flew more than 6,000 hours to domestic and international locations.
“The Gulfstreams offer us flexibility in aircraft capability to serve our clients best,” Chamberlain continues. “We have been quickly expanding, growing our fleet by 75 per cent over the past two years, and adding aircraft in five new locations. Gulfstream speaks for itself with safety, reliability and longevity, and we really like that.
“The average jet consumer does not at first think that Salt Lake City would be a place with our kind of scope of service. It is our challenge to get our name out there with longevity, consistency and supreme service. We plan to continue our fleet expansion across the US, increasing our aircraft management reach and expanding charter capabilities to serve even more customers.”
Keystone Aviation has been managing, chartering, and maintaining private aircraft for 23 years. It claims to be Utah’s largest private aircraft management, maintenance and charter company and is also a regional Daher Socata TBM, Piper Aircraft and HondaJet dealer and broker. The company is part of The Arnold Companies, which owns and operates 15 TAC Air FBO locations, and this national network of FBO bases provides infrastructure and resources for Keystone. Adds Chamberlain: “We pride ourselves on giving our clients an attentive, boutique experience, while at the same time providing the support and economies of scale of a large aircraft operator. Our fleet ranges from turboprops and light jets to ultra long range large cabin aircraft, and everything in between.”
