FranceCTT Systems, an aircraft humidity control system supplier, has announced a VIP inflight humidification order from Swiss completions centre AMAC Aerospace for one Boeing BBJMAX8 aircraft. The VIP IFH system is designed to increase humidity in the entire aircraft cabin, which requires support from three humidifiers. The BBJMAX8 aircraft will be moisture protected with CTT's unique anti-fuselage condensation technology. The system is scheduled to be delivered to AMAC's Basel Airport facility in Q2 2022. Based on list price, the order value is four million Swedish Krona. This is CTT Systems' 97th inflight humidification award for VIP aircraft from Airbus Corporate Jets and Boeing Business Jets.
“We look forward to work together with CTT once again in a VIP completion project. Cabin humidification is a common request from our VIP clients that value good health, wellbeing and feeling at ease during and after flight,” comments Tracey Hawthorne-Kurz, director logistics and purchasing at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland.
“We are pleased to cooperate with AMAC Aerospace in fitting in our IFH system in another BBJMAX VIP completion,” adds Peter Landquist, vice president sales and marketing at CTT Systems.
Without an efficient humidification system, the cabin air in the VIP aircraft or large, cabin business jet is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth, at below five per cent Relative Humidity (RH). This Boeing BBJMAX8 will have a striking humidity increase, restored to comfort and wellbeing levels, at approximately 20 % RH. VIP passengers on long-haul flights will benefit from reduced dry air related problems (fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry throat, dry skin, spread of virus diseases) and improved wellbeing and general sleep. The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. The CTT VIP IFH system offers total anti-condensation protection.
CTT has also received an order for two ACJ-enhanced inflight humidification (IFH) systems from PMV Engineering in Montauban, France in partnership with Airbus Corporate Jets. The ACJ-enhanced IFH systems are being sold by ACJ to elevate the cabin climate in two new-built ACJ319neo aircraft. CTT is scheduling its deliveries to ACJ in Q1 and Q2 2022. In total, three ACJ enhanced IFH systems have been ordered by PMV since ACJ launched it six months ago.
ACJ, CTT and PMV have jointly developed and optimised CTT's IFH system for the ACJ320 family. ACJ is selling the ACJ-enhanced IFH system together with new built green ACJ320neo family aircraft. The ACJ-enhanced IFH system is offered by ACJ as bolt-on-kit with the STC from PMV.
Finally, CTT is celebrating a milestone after receiving its 100th VIP inflight humidification system award.
CTT has in total received 100 VIP inflight humidification system awards for VIP aircraft from Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) and Boeing Business Jets (BBJ), including the latest generation narrowbodies, such as the ACJ320neo family and BBJMAX family, and widebodies, including the ACJ350 and BBJ787.
