The Turkish National Police has been presented with an award for Outstanding Operational Readiness by Bell Textron. The force operates 14 Bell 429s for its safety and security missions, and the fleet's operational readiness is above 95 per cent.
“Operating the Bell 429 has been essential in completing our missions to the best of our ability,” says branch director of aviation maintenance, pilot chief inspector, Nihat Şirin, Turkish National Police. “Bell provides a highly customisable aircraft that meets our critical mission needs. The Bell 429 provides advanced technology that enables our police force to serve and protect our country more safely and efficiently.”

The Turkish Director General of Forestry has also been presented with Bell's operational readiness award. The organisation operates six Bell 429s for its mission of protecting the forests and other natural resources of Turkey, and the fleet also enjoys operational readiness of 95 per cent. “We are thrilled to award the Director General of Forestry this plaque for outstanding operational readiness,” says Bridges. “The Forestry aviators are absolutely amazing. The Bell 429 is an exceptional aircraft that will continue to support the protection of Turkish resources.”
