GE extends Aero-Dienst service centre authorisation
By extending Aero-Dienst’s authorised service centre network agreement, GE ensures that European owners and operators of Challengers with CF34 engines continue to have access to maintenance services.

Nuremberg, Germany-based full service provider Aero-Dienst was elected in April 2011 by GE to become one of the first authorised service providers within the GE European network for its business and general aviation platform. GE has now extended the company's authorised service centre network agreement for the CF34 engine.

Aero-Dienst offers AOG and MRT services, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as engine R & R and removal/reinstallation of external engine components including warranty and GE OnPoint support.

The availability of original GE parts at Aero-Dienst's main facility at Nuremberg airport ensures quick and easy assistance and maintenance services for European owners and operators of Challenger business jets with CF34 engines.

Aero-Dienst performs maintenance on approximately 100 Challenger 600 series jets per year.

“Our continuously growing Challenger department has reached a high level expertise due to its profound knowledge and to its regular line maintenance, base maintenance and troubleshooting training from GE,” says Bombardier and Dassault manager Florian Heinzelmann. “After receiving the contract extension we are really looking forward to providing our ongoing excellent and comprehensive service to our Challenger customers.”
