Jens Reupke has taken delivery of a Beechcraft King Air 250 at Atlas Air Service's facility in Bremen, Germany. The twin turboprop is registered in Germany and its new home hub will be Magdeburg city.
The acquisition process took several months. After an inspection coordinated with its previous owner in Turkey, the ferry flight to Bremen took place. The purchase inspection was performed by Atlas Air Service's 80-man in-house maintenance facility, which carried out necessary modifications and took all necessary measures concerning import and customs formalities.
Atlas also supported the new aircraft owner in all administrative matters, from the preliminary contract to deregistration in the country of origin and registration in the German aircraft register.
“I very much appreciate Atlas Air Service's high level of professional competence,” states Reupke. “I received comprehensive advice and effective support at every stage of the purchase process. We chose the King Air because it enables us to fly to airports with short runways. The King Air 250 offers a lot of space and very modern avionics with the Proline Fusion cockpit.”
Atlas sales director Hans Doll adds: “In 50 years of company history, we have built up a unique competence for Beechcraft, Cessna, King Air and Embraer, the best-selling aircraft brands on the market, with which we can advise our aircraft purchasing customers comprehensively. All services required for a complex aircraft purchase transaction come from one source, including consulting, brokerage, certification, maintenance, aircraft management and external charter, if desired. No other company in Germany is able to offer all this.”
