German operator Helicopter Travel Munich (HTM) has signed a purchase agreement for four Airbus Helicopters H125s. The order will swell its total fleet to 25.

“We have selected the H125 for its superior performance, especially in mountainous areas and hot climates,” says CEO Hans Ostler. “We are excited to put this helicopter into operation for a number of missions including passenger transport, aerial work, filming, photoshoots and firefighting.”

The operator already has one H135 and seven EC135P2s based at Borkum and Emden, as well as 11 EC/H135 and other Airbus Helicopters types at its main Munich base, Ottobrun. In addition, it has three fixed wing Citation XLS based out of Munich. It also serves wind farms in the German Bight using an H145, delivered in November last year.

“We are proud that HTM has renewed its trust in our products,” says head of sales Dennis Bernitz. “I am sure that the company will appreciate the advantages of the new G500 glass cockpit that offers pilots a highly visible and customisable instrument panel.”

HTM is one of the largest helicopter companies in Germany with IFR and offshore approval as well as a flying school.
