Five-blade Beech 1900 prop receives TCCA tick
MT-Propeller president Gerd Muehlbauer says that installing his Beech 1900 propeller leads to greater ground clearance, improved take-off, reduced noise, superior erosion protection and lower costs.
TCCA Canada has given the nod to MT-Propeller's Beech 1900 prop.

Beech 1900 owners in Canada now have the option to install MT-Propeller's five-blade Quiet Fan Jet props. TCCA Canada has accepted the EASA STC for the proellers to be applied to Beech 1900, 1900C and 1900D models powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6A-65B or -67D propeller turbines. The FAA STC is in progress.

President Gerd Muehlbauer comments that the installation leads to greater ground clearance, improved take-off, reduced noise, superior erosion protection and lower costs. They also provide vibration damping.

MT-Propeller is a composite propeller manufacturer with 30 propeller models from two-blade to seven-blade hydraulically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 5,000hp, and two-blade to four-blade electrically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 350hp as well as two blade fixed pitch propellers.

The props can be used on aircraft with piston engines and propeller turbines, as well as on airships, wind tunnels or hovercraft.

150 million fleet hours have been performed on MT-Propellers since the first MT-Propeller was shipped 37 years ago.
