HeliKorea gains country's first entrol H19 simulator
South Korea has its first entrol simulator. The H19 FTD is based on the AW109, and the Level 5 device has been certified ready for use by HeliKorea.
The device has been supplied with South Korean database.

The Korean civil aviation authority has officially certified the entrol H19/AW109 FTD Level 5 simulator purchased by HeliKorea.

This FTD is the first entrol simulator to be installed in South Korea, in the city of Daejeon. It features a cylindrical visual system, a vibration system and a South Korean database with satellite imagery and entrol mission with SAR and EMS scenarios. It will be used for initial training, IFR, practice emergency procedures and mission operation.

HeliKorea is located at Daehwa-dong, Daedeok-gu and Daejeon-si in South Korea.

Since 2005, entrol has developed and manufactured helicopter and fixed wing FNPT and FTD simulators for flight schools, airlines and operators, in order to improve pilot training, increase security on aircraft operations and reduce operational costs.
