NetJets primed for further expansion
NetJets Europe is set to increase the size of its fleet to 91 aircraft, following the delivery of 33 aeroplanes during 2005, including 10 Hawker 400XPs, a Falcon 900EX and a Gulfstream 550.

NetJets Europe is set to increase the size of its fleet to 91 aircraft, following the delivery of 33 aeroplanes during 2005, including 10 Hawker 400XPs, a Falcon 900EX and a Gulfstream 550.

The surge in demand within the business jet market has come from users of the fractional ownership programmes and the NetJets card scheme.

NetJets Europe has more than 900 customers and undertook over 34,000 flights in the first three quarters of 2005. The company says it is on course to have the seventh largest fleet in Europe.

Mark Booth, chairman and ceo of NetJets Management, said: "The business jet market continues to grow rapidly, with demand for new planes far outstripping supply.

"As Europe's biggest buyer of new aircraft, we are in the enviable position of being able to continue to take delivery of new aircraft as our customer base grows."
