SAR Trilogy Management, the holding company of the Aero Centers portfolio of US FBOs, has appointed industry veteran Geoff Heck as president and chief operating officer. As the newest and most experienced addition to the leadership team, Heck will manage and oversee Aero Centers' FBO portfolio. He previously spent 38 years at Signature Flight Support.

"We are pleased to attract the calibre of executive that Geoff Heck represents to the general aviation industry," says Sanjay Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO of SAR-T. "Geoff's 38 years with a single organisation, rising from an entry-level role to senior vice president of global operations with responsibility for more than 200 FBOs, marks an impressive career of leadership, responsibility and service."

In his new role, Heck will be responsible for driving safety, operational effectiveness and customer experience while fostering overall leadership and contributing to Aero Centers' continued growth and success. He will lead over 250 team members and have operational responsibility across the entire portfolio, which provides a full range of traditional FBO services at Dekalb-Peachtree airport in Atlanta, Georgia; Wilmington International airport in North Carolina; and Felts Field airport in Spokane, Washington; as well as aircraft management, charter and brokerage at Aero Center Epps Atlanta.

"For four years, I've watched Aero Centers develop from a greenfield concept to a successful and growing platform with six operating FBOs and two more greenfield locations underway. Aero Centers' entrepreneurial approach, which includes full-service offerings and competition in formerly sole-source airports, is a breath of fresh air in an industry that has seen consolidation in service providers. Aero Centers brings a unique and strategic vision to the FBO space as it continues to grow its network, build its customer base and strive for operational excellence. It is a perfect fit, and I am honoured to join the team," says Heck.

"We are confident Geoff will make an invaluable contribution to our team, leveraging his leadership, known for developing talent and growing markets, and always delivering on commitments made by the company," adds co-founder and CEO Michael Scheeringa. "That is the reputation and culture we want Aero Centers to represent."
