Beech 99/100 series to benefit from MTV-27 prop
The MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD. The latest set is the MTV-27 for the Beech 99/100 series.
MTV-27s have bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades.

MT-Propeller has received FAA STC for the MTV-27-1 Quiet Fan Jet composite propeller on the Beech 99/100 series powered by Honeywell TPE-331s that do not exceed 715 hp and 2000 rpm. The installation of the MTV-27 propellers is already certified by EASA and TCCA Canada.

MT-Propeller VP Martin Albrecht says that the installation of the five-blade MTV-27 propellers on the Beech 99/100 series feature the following advantages: takeoff improvement by 10 per cent; no propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle; lower ITTs during start-up for less engine wear; significant cabin noise [up to 10 dB(A)] and vibration reduction; ramp appeal; and compliance with the strict German 2010 Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung noise regulations for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European countries.

Due to its smaller diameter, the MT-Propeller for the Beech 99/100 series has more ground clearance for less blade tip erosion and FODs. The MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD. They also provide the best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operation and have bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades.
