Leon County Sheriff's Office recently selected Becker Avionics' AMU 6500 for installation on its new Bell 505 helicopter. Leon County performs law enforcement, search and rescue and other critical functions in the panhandle of Florida including the state capital of Tallahassee.

The AMU 6500 was designed to be easy to use and durable. It will replace the operator's obsolete Baker audio panel and is a robust, cost-effective audio panel that combines 3D audio, bluetooth, up to 12 transceiver positions, is panel mounted with no remote boxes, and is lightweight and programmable by the customer.
