Nuremberg-based operator FAI rent-a-jet was at the EBACE show to promote its latest acquisition, a second Global Express. The aircraft has a complete new interior for 14 passengers plus a two-seat crew rest area, wi-fi high speed internet and worldwide satellite TV.
"D-AFAM is available for charter of course, but also for sale or lease," says Siegfried Axtmann, chairman of FAI. "We are experiencing increasing demand for long range aircraft in both air charter and ACMI lease, which is the reason why we decided to add a second Global to our fleet, very likely to be followed by a third one soon," he adds.
FAI operates a fleet of 20 jets including Global Express, Challenger 604, CRJ 200, Falcon 900 EASy and Learjet 35/40/55/60.
