Aircraft humidity control systems provider CTT Systems has received an inflight humidification VIP system order from Jet Aviation for a Boeing BBJ 787. This completion will feature increased humidity in the entire aircraft cabin with support from four humidifiers. This award is the company's 93rd inflight humidification VIP order for Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ aircraft.
Delivery to Jet Aviation is scheduled for June 2020. This green BBJ 787 aircraft is also to be line-fitted with a humidifier in the flight deck.

Without an efficient humidification system, the VIP cabin air is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth, at below 5 per cent relative humidity (RH). This BBJ 787 will have a striking humidity increase, restored to comfort and wellbeing level, to approximately 20 per cent. VIP passengers on long-haul flights will benefit from reduced dry air related problems such as fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin and the spread of virus diseases, and will benefit from improved wellbeing and sleep. The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. It also offers total anti-condensation protection.
