K5-Aviation of Germany has signed for an ACJ319neo which will be available for ad hoc charter. Six aircraft from Airbus' ACJneo family have now been sold. This will be the first ACJneo family aircraft to be operated by K5; it already manages three ACJ319s which are available for vip charter through sales agent Vertis Aviation.

Delivery of the 'green' aircraft is planned for the second quarter of 2019, with the engines and cabin outfitter yet to be selected.

“Clients already enjoy the space and comfort of our aircraft,” says K5 CEO Erik Scheidt. “Our ACJs offer plenty of room for passengers to move around, relax, work and arrive refreshed on up to 13-hour flights. The extra range of the ACJ319neo will enable us to offer longer flights and more city pairs,” he added.

The ACJneos combine fuel-saving engines, wingtip-mounted Sharklets and other enhancements to give customers and operators improved fuel efficiency and greater range, including a flying time of up to 15 hours. They are equipped with fly-by-wire controls and CAT 3B automatic landing technology.
