AMAC remains booked back-to-back
AMAC Aerospace has been dealing with a steady backlog of work that has included two head of state Airbus aircraft. It has also been popular with Bombardier owners since becoming an authorised service facility.
AMAC specialists have been working flat out during the summer.

Basel-based completions specialist AMAC Aerospace saw two head of state aircraft arrived at its Basel, Switzerland facility at the end of July. The company has also been awarded several new maintenance projects. AMAC welcomed an Airbus ACJ340 in late July. The head of state aircraft is staying for two months to undergo a C-check. AMAC is installing a Ka-band system to ensure a seamless connectivity on board the aircraft. Its Airbus team is also performing some minor modification cabin work and several rectifications inside the aircraft. A second head of state aircraft arrived in late July in Basel for a multiple C-check package.

Additionally AMAC Aerospace has been awarded further maintenance projects on four Airbus aircraft. A privately-owned Airbus ACJ320 arrived in late June and is undergoing a 2C-check. A second ACJ320 arrived at the end of July. AMAC's technicians are carrying out a multiple C-check on the privately-owned aircraft. An ACJ319 that arrived in July is also undergoing a 6, 12, 18 and 24 month check while AMAC's Airbus team carries out a partial cabin refurbishment and a Ka-band installation on the privately-owned aircraft. AMAC will open its gates in Basel for a second ACJ319 where the privately-owned aircraft will undergo a 6, 12 and 24 month check.

Furthermore, AMAC has completed an 8C-check on a Global XRS. The privately-owned aircraft was welcomed by the company at the end of February to undergo a maintenance check. While on the ground, a cabin refurbishment was completed as well as an avionics upgrade. The check also required the removal of the stabiliser. AMAC's Bombardier expert team accomplished the project on time and on budget. The aircraft has been released for its take-off to the painting shop after the 8C-check.

A Global Express has also entered AMAC's hangars to undergo a 750, 1,500 and 3,000 hour inspection. Its teams are also upgrading the connectivity system on a privately-owned Global 6000.
