Nomad carries out its first Challenger 604 annual inspection
Landing gear mods and deep cleaning have been provided by Nomad Technics on a Challenger having its 12-month inspection. The company is looking to build relationships with owners of Cessna, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft.
Nomad Technics first opened its doors in August 2018.

Nomad Technics has completed its first six and 12-month inspection on a Challenger 604 at its facility in Basel, Switzerland. Maintenance tasks also included the routine inspection, defect rectification, modification and changing of wheels on the main landing gear, and the work concluded with a deep clean of the aircraft and its cabin.

Nomad Technics, the maintenance division of Nomad Aviation, opened for business in August 2018. It is an EASA Part 145 approved organisation that provides maintenance inspection and non-routine repair work on Citation 525 and Challenger series aircraft and other aircraft types including the Global, Global XRS, Global 6000 and Embraer Legacy 600/650. The company occupies its own 7,400 sqm hangar together with 7,000 sqm of additional ramp space at the International EuroAirport in Basel, where it also offers hangarage services for aircraft up to the size of the Boeing 737 series and the Airbus family.

The team was pleased with the outcome of the CL604 project. "We are looking forward to welcoming operators of Cessna, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft to our company as their preferred choice and to build relationships with clients and industry partners,” says maintenance director Roman Hug.
