Array of AMAC customers keep Basel busy
AMAC's facility in Basel Switzerland is already frantically busy, but hasn't stopped the company from seeking out new business in Africa and the Middle East, as it travelled to Morocco to exhibit at MEBAA.
AMAC was pleased to exhibit at MEBAA Morocco 2019.

AMAC Aerospace has completed several important maintenance projects of late, and continues to sign new contracts. In September, several Boeing BBJ 737 underwent A, B and C-Checks, while requests for AOG support were successfully organised within 24 hours. A head of state Boeing B747 will undergo a cabin interior enhancement and a cabin modification, and for the first time, AMAC Aerospace participated in the MEBAA Show in Marrakech, Morocco.

“At MEBAA Morocco 2019 we promoted our aviation related services and products as a group of companies,” says director of business development and marketing Waleed Muhiddin. “We hope the show attracts more prospects for the future as with industry world renowned companies to promote their speciality activities. We would like to thank MEBAA Morocco for hosting us, Mr. Ali al Naqbi for his time and support and the show management group who kept their standards high.”

AMAC's new contracts include an Airbus ACJ340 for a six-year inspection. The head of state Airbus ACJ340 will arrive at AMAC Aerospace in Basel in November 2019. Besides the inspection, AMAC will carry out a full cabin removal and rectification. With a developed STC, AMAC will install a Ka-band system on the VIP Airbus ACJ340. This STC will be re-usable for other ACJ340 customers.

A second maintenance contract has been signed for another Airbus ACJ340. The head of state Airbus ACJ340 arrived in September in Basel. AMAC's technicians will carry out a 12-year inspection and in conjunction the aircraft will undergo a landing gear overhaul.

AMAC is also proud to welcome a Boeing BBJ 737, currently undergoing a C-Check. AMAC's team will install an ADS-B Out.

Additionally, a head of state client has signed a contract with AMAC Aerospace for two base maintenance checks; one on its Airbus ACJ319 and a second base maintenance check on its Airbus ACJ320. The first Airbus will arrive in October 2019.

AMAC Aerospace has also been awarded an annual base maintenance check on a head of state McDonnell Douglas MD-87 which has already arrived at its Basel facility.

A Gulfstream GV arrived at beginning of September too, and AMAC Aerospace is carrying out an A1 and a C1 check on the privately-owned aircraft. A G450 is also having an annual maintenance check.
