Channel Island-based operator ORTAC is now managing a factory new King Air 250, which is available for general charter across the UK and Europe.

The King Air 250 offers six seats in a roomy cabin and has an expansive hold, suitable for carrying larger amounts of luggage including golf clubs or other sporting equipment. As well as offering flights to the usual larger airport locations, the King Air is able to land in smaller provincial airfields, providing a greater choice of landing options and the benefit that passengers can fly to a point closer to their end destination.

Accountable manager Lee McConnell says: “The King Air is probably the most popular business turboprop on the market, and we are extremely excited to now be able to offer this beautiful and versatile aircraft for charter, in addition to our existing fleet of four business jets.

“Its efficient fuel burns, even on short hops, and capacity to land in smaller, less expensive airfields make it an extremely cost-effective solution for travelling around the UK and Europe.”

Less than a year after being awarded its AOC by Guernsey authority 2-REG, ORTAC will now be managing a total of five aircraft. In addition to the King Air, the company operates a new Phenom 300, to be available on its AOC for charter imminently, a Citation Latitude, a CJ3+ and an M2.
