TAG Aviation Geneva has welcomed a second Gulfstream G200 to its charter fleet. The nine passenger jet is capable of travelling 3,400 nm non-stop when cruising at Mach 0.7 and offers an oval cabin cross-section almost the same as a large, long-range aircraft.
“We are delighted to have this Geneva-based second Gulfstream G200 join our charter fleet,” says director of charter for Europe Andrew Hodgson. “The aircraft is immediately available and can be fully dedicated to charter without the need for the owner's prior release.
“In line with TAG's overall strategy, we are currently looking to expand our managed charter fleet of aircraft and create more strategic partnerships in order to offer a wider choice of aircraft type that meets the needs of our clients for business and leisure trips.”
TAG Aviation operates one of Europe's biggest charter fleets but also brokers other aircraft. Adds charter services manager Europe Joao Pacheco: “In addition to our fleet, we have developed partnerships with selected operators in order to guarantee an extended global network of well maintained, high quality aircraft.
“This not only enables clients to benefit from the size of our charter fleet, it also makes the service very competitive. We can offer around 150 additional TAG-approved aircraft in every category, from turboprop to airliner, to charter clients,” Pacheco says.r."
