Oman signs up for eight training Diamonds
Oman Aviation Academy CEO Abdullah Murad Al Bulushi says that the company selected Diamond's DA40 NG and DA42-VI because they are equipped with the latest technology and are recognised globally.
Oman Aviation Academy will include the twin DA42-VI in its fleet.

Oman Aviation Academy (OAA), a CAE authorised training centre, has signed a contract with Diamond Aircraft for the purchase of eight aircraft, including two twin-engine DA42-VI, with an option to add more.

CEO Abdullah Murad Al Bulushi comments: “We are glad to sign this agreement and establish this long-term partnership with Diamond Aircraft. We are the first aviation training academy in Oman and aim to provide the highest standard of training for civil and military market. Our vision is to make OAA the future hub for aviation training in the region. This can only be achieved by providing the highest quality of training and using the best training equipment. Therefore, we selected Diamond's DA40 NG and DA42-VI because they are equipped with the latest technology and are recognised globally as one of the best aircraft types for pilot training.”

Diamond Aircraft Austria's sales and marketing director Amila Spiegel adds: “We are delighted to welcome Oman Aviation Academy to our Diamond Aircraft family. Having the academy as a partner in the region marks a major milestone for the both of us and we are proud to support it on its future success path. The cooperation with everyone from Oman Aviation Academy has been a great pleasure and we are looking forward to provide it with many more aircraft.”

Deliveries of the first aircraft will commence in the first quarter of 2020.
