VistaJet continues to challenge the boundaries of what is possible at 40,000ft by introducing a Wellness programme that aims to transform flights from a potentially tiring experience into an energising one. It has partnered with leading brands to integrate onboard wellness facilities and services to destinations with a focus on wellbeing.

“Flying better means living better, and the advantage of flying private should not be limited to the speed of the flight alone. In VistaJet's aim for excellence, we researched all the ways to benefit the minds and bodies of those who fly with us. Using our resources, knowledge and network, we can really support our members, particularly those who spend a lot of time in the air. When flying is part of your life or business routine, we want to make sure it adds value,” says chief marketing officer Matteo Atti.

For people who fly long haul a few times a week, the impact of jetlag has a real effect on everyday life and business focus. VistaJet's series of wellness services include:

- Pre-flight consultations with a nutritionist to pre-order personalised in-flight meals from wellness dining menus

- In-flight ergonomic seating to assist posture; dynamic daylight simulation to sync to destination time zone; meditation and breathing apps; onboard products from wellness brands; and specialist natural whole fruit and herb infusions

- Post-flight wellness guides for jet lag management and effective hydration after arrival

Its collection of Private World wellness recommendations include a 21 day spiritual expedition through Nepal and Bhutan; meet an expert on herbalism and Andean medicinal traditions in acred Valley, Peru; adventures and rejuvenating rituals in the US and Mexico; post-flying treatments and rejuvenating retreats in Switzerland; a visit to the Maldives' only dedicated wellbeing island; Qatar with Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som; cold-water therapy in Sweden; Costa Rica with Hacienda AltaGracia, Auberge Resorts Collection; a longevity programme that teaches how to live life optimally in Ibiza; and India with J Wellness Circle, Taj Hotels.

“When you look at something from the sky, you can spot new options, ideas and, in this case, new remedies and practices to add value to life. It is about reimagining your way in the world, because what else is the purpose of travelling the globe if not to expand yourself?” adds Atti.
