ACI takes delivery of California-based XRS
ACI Jet's latest Global Express XRS features Honeywell's satellite-based Ka-band broadband internet system JetWave, which delivers broadband internet speeds while at any altitude, nearly everywhere on Earth.
Customers know to expect quality when they step onboard a Global Express XRS.

California-based private jet management and charter provider, FBO network and aircraft maintenance organisation ACI Jet has added a 2008 Bombardier Global Express XRS business jet to its charter fleet. This aircraft, ACI's fourth actively managed Global Express available for charter, brings its large-cabin offerings at California to nine.

In addition to the standard set of amenities that come equipped on the Global Express XRS, this aircraft features Honeywell's satellite-based Ka-band broadband internet system JetWave, which delivers truly broadband internet speeds while at any altitude, nearly everywhere on Earth. An advanced Audio/Video On-Demand (AVOD) system allows streaming to either of the cabin's dual 21-inch monitors from mobile devices. The aircraft also features a video monitoring system, allowing passengers multiple panoramic views outside of the aircraft during flight via cameras mounted in positions around the airframe.

“We're excited about the team's accomplishment during these challenging times,” states Kellee Valentine, ACI Jet's senior VP of flight operations. “ACI Jet is not immune to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fact that our team was able to quickly complete the complexities of an aircraft conformity process speaks volumes about their will to persevere. I'm very proud of the team we have here at ACI Jet and their commitment to service and excellence even in difficult times.”

The XRS offers business travellers international range to deliver non-stop service to much of Europe, South America and northeast Asia from California, and with a modern, spacious, and quiet interior. Introduced in 2005 and at an initial price of nearly $60 million, the aircraft has become a successful long-range luxury jet option.
