German mission critical operator FAI rent-a-jet has added a Global Express to its aircraft management fleet on behalf of a corporate client. This marks FAI's seventh Global Express and brings its total fleet to 29, including 13 managed aircraft. It is anticipated that the Isle of Man registered aircraft will go onto FAI's AOC at the beginning of this year and be available for turnkey charter operations thereafter. In the meantime, it will be NCC-operated by FAI on behalf of the owner.

The jet provides comfort for up to 12 passengers and features a well-appointed, tan leather interior complemented by Makasar-veneer woodwork in a four-seat double club configuration and a three-seat divan. In addition, onboard ultra high speed wi-fi internet/VoIP is provided by Honeywell's Ka-band accompanied by a Collins Venue cabin management system including Alto speakers, Emteq light show and full HD monitors.

Group chairman Siegfried Axtmann comments: “We are very pleased to welcome our seventh Global Express which remains one of our most popular aircraft types for long range missions. Through our management contracts we provide value for aircraft owners who can rely on us to manage all of their aircraft requirements to a high standard and offer charter clients a diverse fleet from which to choose.”
