ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East has been certified by the Saudi Arabian General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to carry out maintenance on Saudi registered Dassault Falcon 900B, including 12 month or 800 flight hour inspections, and by India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to carry out maintenance on various Indian registered Falcon jets at its Dubai facility.
According to Nick Weber, regional VP for the Middle East, ExecuJet sought GACA certification in response to customer demand: “We expect to expand the approval to cover C-checks and to add approvals for other Falcon aircraft types as they come onto the Saudi registry."
Weber adds: “The Indian DGCA certification includes line and heavy maintenance on Falcon 7X and 8X aircraft as well as several variants of Falcon 2000 and Falcon 900 aircraft.”
As a Dassault owned facility ExecuJet can carry out work covered under the manufacturer's warranty, including the popular FalconCare maintenance service.
ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East is already GACA certified to do line and heavy maintenance on aircraft manufactured by other OEMs, such as Bombardier, Embraer and Hawker. This is the first time GACA has certified it to maintain a Falcon aircraft type.
