ACI Jet has successfully completed an IS-BAO Stage III renewal audit of its flight operations.
IS-BAO is a voluntary safety standard from IBAC, and Stage III is the highest registration level; it verifies that safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator's business and that a positive safety culture is being sustained.
Headquartered in California, ACI Jet operates 18 business jets and has been registered as an IS-BAO operator since 2012. Its goal in implementing IS-BAO has been to build a culture that continuously strives for a better, safer way of operating by identifying areas where better risk management will improve safety. Conformity to the best practices of IS-BAO raises the confidence of operations personnel, customers and insurance carriers, and demonstrates ACI Jet's commitment to operational excellence.
Independent accredited IS-BAO auditors Bill McBride and Jim Bennett comment: "ACI represents an outstanding example of teamwork, training, cultural development and an excellent continuous improvement process. Congratulations to the ACI team; we enjoyed working with you and admire your pursuit of operational excellence."
Andrew Karas, IS-BAO programme director, adds: "The ACI Jet team should be proud and honoured with this achievement, and we commend them for their journey to safety excellence and continuous improvement. Congratulations, and thank you for your voluntary commitment to IS-BAO for over a decade."
