AMAC places humidification order with CTT
Without an efficient humidification system, the VIP cabin air is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth at below 5 per cent relative humidity. This BBJ MAX9 will have a striking humidity increase.

Humidity systems manufacturer CTT has received a VIP inflight humidification system order from AMAC Aerospace for a Boeing BBJ MAX9 aircraft. This completion will feature increased humidity in the entire aircraft cabin, which requires support from three humidifiers, with anti-fuselage condensation protection. The system will be delivered to AMAC in Q4 2020. This award is CTT Systems' 95th VIP inflight humidification order for Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ aircraft.

“We are delighted to work with AMAC Aerospace again in the completion of the first BBJ MAX9 that AMAC will equip with our IFH system," says Peter Landquist, vice president sales and marketing at CTT Systems.

“AMAC Aerospace are very pleased to work with CTT in another VIP completion project. Cabin humidification is a common request from our VIP clients that value good health, wellbeing and feeling at ease during and after flight," comments Tracey Hawthorne-Kurz, director logistics and purchasing at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland.

Without an efficient humidification system, the VIP cabin air is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth at below 5% relative humidity (RH). This BBJ MAX9 will have a striking humidity increase, restored to comfort and wellbeing level, to approximately 20% RH. VIP passengers on this BBJ MAX9 will on long-haul flights benefit from reduced dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry throat, dry skin and the spread of virus diseases) and improved wellbeing and general sleep. The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. The CTT IFH VIP system offers total anti-condensation protection.
