MT-Propeller Entwicklung has received the ANAC Brazil STC 2022S04-05 for the Quiet Fan Jet MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR203-58d five-blade scimitar composite propeller on the Piper PA-46-500TP powered by the propeller turbine P&WC PT6A-42A engine.
This installation is also EASA certified by STC # 10047226 and FAA certified by STC SA03446NY.
The propeller installation provides a general performance improvement (10 per cent shorter take off distance, four per cent better climb performance, three kts faster in cruise), approximately three pounds less weight than the original metal propeller, cooler ITT on ground with condition lever at low and high idle position, no propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle, possibility to reduce Ng to 57 per cent for better ground handling, and more ground clearance, resulting in fewer FODs.
All models comply with the strict 2010 German Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung noise regulations for unrestricted airport operation in Germany and other European countries. The long time proven MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD.
They also provide best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration-free propeller operation and have bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades.
