Monaco-based Boutsen Aviation has had a promising start to 2015 with the successful sale of a 2008 Dassault Falcon 7X. The sale represents the fourth 7X transaction successfully closed by Boutsen in the last 12 months.

The sales team at the company sells between 20 and 30 aircraft a year, of which 90 per cent are pre-owned. Since 1997 Boutsen has sold more than 296 aircraft.

The company's management structure is seeing change, whereby founder and chairman Thierry Boutsen has named Dominique Trinquet president and Mathieu Pezin executive vice president.

Karim Hijazi will continue to represent Boutsen in Dubai.

Says Thierry: “These appointments are a natural progression. We are proud to include Mathieu among our senior management and look forward to the next chapter.”
