Jet Support Services has appointed Oscar Martinez as director of business development for Latin America (LATAM), and Eric Borgstrom and Darwin Stout as business development managers focused on the US Midwest and West Coast territories, respectively.

Martinez brings a wealth of industry experience with more than 12 years in the field, including more than six as JSSI's airframe and engine technical advisor in Latin America. With his proven success record and customer focused approach, he has grown naturally into his new role. Prior to working with JSSI, he served as director of maintenance at Taxi Aereo de México and head of maintenance at Aerolíneas Ejecutivas. He holds an aeronautical engineering degree from the National Polytechnic Institute University in Mexico.
Prior to his new role with JSSI, Borgstrom advanced through the company from client relationship manager to leading the regional account management team. Through his tenure at JSSI, he has demonstrated outstanding service to the clientele, securing a client retention rate of 91 per cent while managing over 230 contracts. He previously held roles at Air Spares Unlimited where he led the expansion of Boeing Chapter 32 sales, and Coyote Logistics, focused on business development. He earned a BSc in business administration from Central Michigan University.
Stout has more than 30 years of aviation sales and technical experience. Prior to joining JSSI, he held leadership positions at Learjet, Gulfstream, Embraer Executive Jets, Satcom Direct and Bluetail, with his most recent role as the regional sales director, aircraft management at Jet Aviation Flight Services where he managed the Pacific Northwest and northern California US territories. A current aircraft owner and instrument rated commercial pilot, Stout holds an A&P licence with Inspection Authorisation and a BSc in aerospace engineering from the University of Tennessee.
Martinez will oversee JSSI sales activities in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama. Borgstrom will support sales activities in the US Midwest and southeast territories, including Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Stout will support sales activities in the US West Coast territory, which includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming, supporting JSSI US West Coast director of business development Manuel Ruanova.
