Swiss-headquartered private jet operator Global Jet continues its ascent with the entry of a Phenom 300 into its charter fleet. Having a base at Bordeaux airport in France, the aircraft is designed to welcome seven passengers in the utmost comfort. Equipped with the latest avionics, the private jet is divided into two cabin zones.
The Phenom 300 is an upgrade of the Phenom 100 that provides more space and comfort for travellers with increased leg, elbow and head room. The forward cabin offers a double club-seating configuration followed by two seats facing the cockpit. The luggage compartment has also increased its volume with a capacity of 2.37 sqm.
Global Jet is also introducing another widebody to its charter fleet in the form of a Boeing BBJ1 based in Nice in France and capable of welcoming 19 passengers in ultimate luxury and comfort.
This is ideal for transatlantic flights with its a range of 4,605 nm and top speed of 473 kts. Customers will be able to enjoy non-stop flights from New York to Nice or from Geneva to Delhi, Global Jet says.
The company reports that a Boeing BBJ1 under its supervision has been designed with refinement by Winch Design. The cabin configuration of the VIP private jet provides ample space and possibilities for privacy to enjoy every moment, from relaxing in the VIP lounge to watching movies in the cinema room to sharing a five-star dinner and recharging one's batteries in the master suite configured with a king-size bed and with a private VIP bathroom.
Global Jet has also introduced a 2020 Pilatus PC-24 to its fleet with a significant charter availability.
This private jet is said to have a refined and bright interior including a very spacious cabin for the utmost comfort of its customers. This aircraft is very versatile as it has the cabin size of a medium-light jet with the performances and efficiency of a light jet. The cabin can welcome up to six passengers and offers a large baggage capacity of 2.5 sqm. Another advantage of this aircraft is its spacious and modern forward lavatory.
It is equipped with the most intuitive and user-friendly cockpit. The Advanced Cockpit Environment (ACE) sets the standard for technological simplicity. The Pilatus ACE also includes a synthetic vision system, an autothrottle, graphical flight planning, traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS II), and localiser performance with vertical (LPV) guidance capability.
One of the most important highlights, is the Quiet Powder Mode, which provides quiet, economical energy to power electrical systems including heating and air conditioning. Thanks to this unique strength, Global Jet can say that the Pilatus PC-24 is extremely flexible. This feature is a worldwide premiere.
The aircraft is based in Andorra-La Seu d'Urgell in Spain, where it is very complex to fly since specific authorisations as required. In fact, this airport is only accessible with this Pilatus PC24 as Global Jet has obtained specific approval for this aircraft to perform private and commercial flights. In addition, the aircraft has its own hangar, which was completely refurbished in 2022.
Finally, Global Jet is adding a Gulfstream 550 based in Paris and capable of hosting 13 passengers.
The interior of the cabin is divided in three cabin-zones, which comprise a forward cabin club with four seats and two console tables, a mid-cabin with one dining/conference group area with two double seats and the afterward cabin with one three-place divan opposite a single seat, facing the cockpit. After enjoying a gastronomical dinner on board, customers will be able to take a shower in the afterward lavatory, which is a huge plus for this type of aircraft.
Furthermore, travellers will be able to enjoy a complete range of entertainment features as well as four iPads containing videos, press and games. It is equipped with Bose soundproof headsets and has Bluetooth connection.
The Gulfstream G550 is very efficient and has a range of 6750 nm and can fly at a speed at Mach 0.80. Thanks to its long-range, passengers will have the possibility of flying directly from Geneva to Los Angeles non-stop.
