Lithuanian flight school receives Diamond simulators
AirHub provides training on one device (DA40, DA42 and MCC) increasing cost-efficiency, reducing transition times from simulator to aircraft as the cockpit environment is identical, and increasing training efficiency.
Diamond's simulator is modelled after the DA40 and the DA42 aircraft and is the only training device for the DA40/DA42 fleet available on the market that is based on a Diamond data package with MCC training option.

Diamond Aircraft Austria has delivered two DA40 NG, one DA42-VI and one convertible DA40/42 MCC FNPT II simulator to AirHub, a flight training facility based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Diamond Aircraft responded to the increased need of flight schools for Multi Crew Coordination (MCC) training and has developed an MCC add-on for its latest DA42-VI flight simulator. The company is now offering an approved FNPT II-MCC device, with AirHub Aviation Lithuania being the first customer. Diamond's simulator is fully modelled after the DA40 and the DA42 aircraft and is the only training device for the DA40/DA42 fleet available on the market that is based on an officially approved Diamond data package with MCC training option.

AirHub provides all-in-one training on just one device (DA40, DA42 and MCC) increasing cost-efficiency, reducing transition times from simulator to aircraft as the cockpit environment is identical, and increasing training efficiency as students can fully concentrate on their Multi Crew Coordination tasks without readjusting to different instrumentation – MCC is usually offered just in simulators for larger aircraft types.

Since 2017, AirHub has provided professional flight training to charter and wet lease airline GetJet Airlines, which operates a fleet of 13 aircraft including the Airbus A320, A319 and widebody Airbus A330. AirHub's training centre is now extending its training capabilities to an ATPL Integrated training programme (ab Initio training), starting with two new groups of students in April 2021. This programme will allow the students to become pilots in two years either in a classroom or distance learning profile, guaranteeing fast track employment to a first officer position at GetJet upon successful completion of the training.

Additionally, AirHub is offering premium private pilot training services for individuals willing to purchase a single engine or multi engine aircraft and start traveling on their own or use AirHub aircraft lease services with its brand-new Austro Engine jet fuel powered Diamond aircraft.

“Simply there is no other one-stop shop platform that is made for the single and multi-engine aircraft and the corresponding high-quality simulator training for both professional and private pilots than Diamond. It is providing the best high-end option in the industry today,” says Ruta Kulvinskaite, CEO of AirHub Lithuania.

“We are very happy to support the growth of AirHub Aviation and to welcome it to our ever-growing Diamond Aircraft family,” adds Frank Zhang, CEO of Diamond Aircraft Austria. “The cooperation with AirHub has been a great pleasure, and we're looking forward to continuing to support it with the industry's safest and most efficient training platforms as it continues to grow.”
