Prizm and Collins develop Venue interface
The interface will enable easier installation of the Prizm product by reducing the wire count, and customers can control their lighting through the Venue CabinCommand app.

Prizm Aircraft Products has been working with Collins Aerospace to develop an ethernet interface between the Venue cabin management system and the Prizm RGBW cabin lighting system.

Born of input from Prizm dealers on behalf of their clients, the integration of these two systems combines business aviation cabin management and lighting systems, and simplifies cabin upgrades.

"This has been a long awaited feature for all our dealers who install both Prizm and Venue systems," says Prizm sales director Tim Lockerby. "And the interface will enable easier installation of the Prizm product using Venue's ethernet control protocols."

From the dealer perspective, the Prizm-Venue integration reduces wire count and simplifies installation. For the customer, it simplifies the user experience by providing full Prizm lighting control directly through the Venue CabinCommand app.

This feature will be available with the next Venue software release, set for early Q2 2024.
