Popular Falcon 2000LXS enters ExecuJet Malaysia workshop
A Falcon C-Inspection is a major maintenance check, with extensive inspections of aircraft structures and systems. It is similar in scope to major inspections ExecuJet performs on Bombardier and Gulfstream products.

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has completed the country's first C-Inspection on a Dassault Falcon 2000LXS, reinforcing Malaysia's status as an important centre for business aviation MRO in Asia Pacific.

The Falcon 2000 is a super midsize business jet favoured by many operators in Asia Pacific. It is the most popular Falcon type in the region with more than 40 aircraft operated. There are over 100 Falcons of all types in Asia Pacific.

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia is based at Subang airport and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation in early 2019. It is the largest business aviation MRO in Malaysia and one of the largest in the region. The company provides line and heavy maintenance for many different aircraft types from various business jet manufacturers including Bombardier and Gulfstream.

A Falcon C-Inspection is a major maintenance check, with extensive inspections of aircraft structures and systems. It is similar in scope to major inspections ExecuJet MRO Services performs on Bombardier and Gulfstream products.

“Operators of Dassault Falcon aircraft throughout the Asia Pacific region have now been entrusting us to maintain their aircraft, now we are part of the Dassault MRO network,” says ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia regional VP Asia Ivan Lim. “Previously, some of these heavier maintenance inspections tended to be carried out in North America or Europe, but we are seeing a trend where operators are looking for an in-region solution, more so during this time where border restrictions across different countries could pose serious challenges in the positioning of aircraft. We are pleased to be able to provide that solution and increasingly have this high-value maintenance work coming to us in Malaysia.”

Lim says the business aviation sector in Asia Pacific continues to grow, helping to create high-value jobs and opportunities for Malaysians, which in turn helps to cushion the adverse impact felt through the commercial aviation sector due to the fallout from COVID-19.

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia is certified and fully equipped to work on all in-production models of Dassault Falcon aircraft, making it the leading MRO organisation in Asia Pacific for Dassault Aviation civil aircraft.

The Subang-based facility has completed heavy checks on all in-production types of Dassault Falcon aircraft. It also recently completed a 36-month inspection with ADS-B Out modification on a Falcon 900EX and has another Falcon 2000 C-Inspection scheduled.
