Textron Aviation has received EASA certification for its Pro Line Fusion-equipped King Air 350i/ER and 250 with cabin enhancements. “The King Air's reliability, versatility and operating efficiencies continue to make the entire family of turboprops a popular choice in the European market,” says senior VP of sales and marketing Kriya Shortt. “We're looking forward to getting the upgraded King Airs into the EU marketplace, where owners and operators have responded enthusiastically to the investments we've made in bringing the latest technology, safety and comfort to the cockpit and cabin.” The upgrade was announced at EBACE in May 2015. The Fusion-equipped King Air 250 earned FAA certification in July 2015 and the 350i/ER earned the certification in November 2015. The Pro Line Fusion avionics system includes a touch screen flight display system with three 14", high resolution displays, synthetic vision system, wireless database and chart uploads and presets. The cabin has also been enhanced on these King Airs, with wi-fi capability as standard and window shades that can be dimmed electronically.
