Grossmann stays loyal to Jet Aviation to maintain G550

Prague-based Grossmann Jet Services is preparing to send its G550 to Jet Aviation for a first check, following a longstanding relationship with the Swiss company. Says ceo Dagmar Grossmann: “I have been in the industry for a very long time and it has been proven that a good facility such as Jet Aviation with a strong reputation can help you to sell your aircraft faster and maybe even for a better price; the documentation and the work completed really counts.

“I could see the entire philosophy behind Jet Aviation and its friendliness and reliability. For me personally it is important that there is attention to detail and a good relationship with the customer.

“I do not have to be involved too much in their work and the result is always what I want in terms of quality, price and time.”

The G550 is the operator's only aircraft at the moment, as it focuses on being an internal flight department. Grossmann entrusted its Embraer to Jet Aviation in June 2013, a decision which resulted in a good sale. “The last check – the D check – was performed at Jet Aviation and the new owner bought the eight-year-old aircraft with zero findings,” she continues. “I was thankful to Jet Aviation for its great work, the sensational work from my team and some credit to myself as well in achieving this!”

In her opinion the business aviation market in Europe is 'slow with no orientation': “Everything is changing and all of us have to work twice as hard to get the same thing as five years ago. If you want to sell, buy, finance or manage an aircraft nowadays, the same rules still apply.

“My biggest ongoing target is that my team and the aircraft stay healthy and happy.”
