Humidity systems supplier CTT has announced a VIP inflight humidification system order from Comlux Completion for an Airbus ACJ320neo aircraft. This completion will feature increased humidity in the entire aircraft cabin, which requires support from two humidifiers, with anti-fuselage-condensation protection. This award is CTT Systems' 96th VIP inflight humidification order for Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ aircraft.
“We are delighted to cooperate with Comlux again in the completion of the second ACJ320neo that Comlux will equip with our IFH system,” says Peter Landquist, vice president sales and marketing of CTT Systems.
“Humidification is one of the most important features in engineering luxury and comfort for our most prestigious completion clients,” states Daron Dryer CEO Comlux Completion. “CTT Systems is a trusted supplier and its VIP inflight humidification system has proven to be a very reliable and efficient system.”
Without an efficient humidification system, the VIP cabin environment is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth at below 5% relative humidity (RH). This ACJ320neo will have a striking humidity increase, restored to comfort and wellbeing levels, to approximately 20% relative humidity. VIP passengers on this ACJ320neo will on long-haul flights benefit from reduced dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin and spread of virus diseases) and improved wellbeing and sleep. The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. The CTT VIP IFH system offers total anti-condensation protection.
