Qatar Executive reaffirms Gulfstream relationship with fourth G650ER

Qatar Executive has taken delivery of a fourth Gulfstream G650ER, which will be immediately available for charter. The delivery means that the operator has the largest fleet of the type in the world.

Gulfstream established a partnership with the Qatari carrier when it became the launch customer for the G500 in 2014. Since then, the company has entered into an agreement for up to 30 Gulfstreams, comprising firm orders and options that include the G650ER along with the clean sheet G500 and G600.

“The demand from our customers for longer range private air travel continues to grow,” says chief executive Akbar Al Baker. “Taking delivery of our fourth Gulfstream G650ER executive jet, making us the largest single owner and operator of G650ER luxury private jets in the world, means we can continue to meet this demand.”

Gulfstream president Mark Burns adds: “We delivered the first G650ER for charter ops in the Middle East to Qatar Executive in 2015. At that time, the operator was interested in introducing a new and enhanced level of service to its customers and determined that Gulfstream aircraft were the ideal means by which to do so. We are proud to continue that relationship with this milestone and value the confidence Qatar Executive has in our team.”
