Bremen-based Atlas Air Service, recently appointed as a Tamarack authorised service centre, has completed its first Tamarack active winglets installation on a German-registered Citation CJ2+ jet.
The test flight in the windy north has already confirmed a significantly better climb rate and noticeably enhanced flight stability.
Taramack active winglets are the only aerodynamic technology currently on the market that is able to reduce climb times and fuel consumption without significant structural changes, while at the same time improving range as well as aircraft stability. This results in substantial time and cost savings for the aircraft owners.
“Being a CitationJet expert, we offer an active winglet upgrade during the regular maintenance slot here in Bremen,” says manager CAMO and MRO business control centre Serkan Akin. “By doing so, we reduce downtime and ferry costs for our clients."
