AFAE puts pen to paper with Alsim once more
The AL42 is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42, built using genuine aircraft parts and equipped with the latest real-world Garmin G1000 avionics suite. AFAE was pleased with its first unit, so has ordered a second.
The device comes with the latest generation visual system, GFC 700 autopilot and PBN/LPV capabilities.

Alsim has supplied a second AL42 simulator to Airbus Group subsidiary Airbus Flight Academy Europe (AFAE). The simulator was delivered to AFAE training facility in Angoulême, France.

The AL42 is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42, built using genuine aircraft parts and equipped with the latest real-world Garmin G1000 avionics suite. It also comes with the latest generation visual system, GFC 700 autopilot and PBN/LPV capabilities.

“We would like to thank Airbus for renewing its confidence in Alsim. Two years ago, Airbus Flight Academy Europe purchased its Alsim AL42 for its ab-initio training syllabus. This second simulator shows the trust Airbus Flight Academy Europe has in our product and service. This proves that we listen to our customers and can provide a high level of technology and on-time service,” concludes Nicolas de Lassus, Alsim's sales account manager.
