RR authorisation extends Inflite MRO capabilities
Inflite The Jet Centre has been awarded Rolls-Royce authorised service centre status and will offer MRO services to AE 3007 engines.
Inflite The Jet Centre is to offer MRO for AE 3007 engines now it has Rolls-Royce authorised service centre status.

London Stansted airport-based Inflite the Jet Centre has received authorised service centre status from Rolls-Royce to support the engines that power Embraer's Legacy 600 and 650 business jets. Effective immediately, Inflite will deliver the OEM's CorporateCare and CorporateCare Enhanced MRO services to the Rolls-Royce AE 3007, covering line maintenance and power by the hour support.

CorporateCare is a comprehensive, fixed-cost engine maintenance management programme that protects against unforeseen costs and unscheduled events anywhere in the world and reduces the administrative burdens for operators. Inflite is making investment in parts and training in support of the contract. It is also adding personnel, with an initial four Rolls-Royce trained technicians moving over to its London Stansted facility this month.

“We are delighted to have won this endorsement from the prestigious aviation brand that is Rolls-Royce. Over the last few years we have invested considerably in our facilities and manpower and are delighted to take this contract on,” says managing director Christoffer Creutz, who joined the business two years ago from Lufthansa Technik.

“We are looking forward to working closely with Rolls-Royce and its customers as we continue to evolve and grow our business, newly bolstered with the arrival of Excellence Aviation,” adds head of customer service Alan Barnes.

Rolls-Royce SVP services, business aviation Andy Robinson adds: “As the leading supplier of business aircraft engines our customers trust in us to deliver outstanding in-service support. Our collaboration with the world's most experienced maintenance providers ensures industry leading service levels for our growing global CorporateCare customer base.”

Housed in a new dedicated home within Inflite's 250,000 sq ft hangar space, Excellence Aviation Services is expanding into full base maintenance at Stansted under Inflite ownership, specialising in Global Express and Challenger aircraft.

The deal further strengthens Inflite's long-standing partnership with Embraer Aircraft, which commenced in 2011. The independent MRO, which marks its 30th anniversary this year, is Embraer's largest authorised service centre for the EMEA region, supporting Phenom, Legacy and Lineage models.
