The operator currently performs offshore and onshore missions in countries as diverse as South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Peru, Antarctica, Mozambique, India and the Ivory Coast.

The AW139 is to be delivered new from AgustaWestland as part of Waypoint's order book while the Sikorsky S76C+ is a purchase and leaseback from the Titan fleet. Both aircraft will be operated by Titan to provide offshore crew change support in South Africa and Namibia.

Waypoint ceo Ed Washecka comments: “We are excited to be part of Titan's continued expansion. Titan is the largest helicopter services company in South Africa with a great history of operating on several continents, and we appreciate its confidence in Waypoint.”

Titan chairman Martin Steynberg adds: “We are pleased to commence our relationship with Waypoint Leasing with the closing of our first transaction together.
