Revv and OptimuM Air forge collaboration
More than 550,000 patients in the United States are transported via air ambulance every year, according to the Association of Air Medical Services. Revv and Optimum Air are seeking to establish some market share.
The King Air will be kept in a dedicated air ambulance configuration, capable of transporting all types of patients from neonates to adults.

US Part 135 revv aviation is to provide a dual-piloted King Air 200/350 and dedicated crew to Optimum Air for 24 hour, on demand critical care air transport services to the US southwest region.

Revv CEO Guy Lieser says that getting into the air ambulance business complements the company’s existing charter business: “Our fleet of King Airs are ideal for regional air ambulance missions because of their cost-effectiveness, cabin size and ability to land and take off on shorter runways, which is typical in sparcely populated areas.”

OptimuMedicine, founded in 2017 and the parent company of Optimum Air, operates out of Las Vegas and has provided critical care ground and air service in Nevada since 2017.

“We strive to embody the best elements of transport, emergency, and critical care medicine in everything that we do,” says founder and CEO Devon Eisma. “Forming a business relationship with revv aviation makes perfect sense. Our philosophies and values mirror each other, as do our cultures, training and expertise.”
