BAN's World Gazetteer
CaliforniaUS operator Clay Lacy Aviation has expanded its east coast charter fleet with a factory-new Global 6000 based at Palm Beach International airport, and an eight passenger 2017 Challenger 350 stationed at Miami's Opa-Locka Executive airport.
The Global 6000 seats up to 13 passengers and features streaming enabled, Ka-band high speed satellite internet. Its advanced wing design has been developed to offer a smooth ride and it has a non-stop range of 6,000 nm at cruising speeds up to Mach 0.89. The aircraft's steep approach certification enables it to access shorter airfields like London City airport, where other large cabin aircraft cannot land.
On board, its Ka-band connectivity allows seamless video conferencing, entertainment streaming and wireless control of the cabin environment from personal mobile devices. There are two 24-inch high definition monitors, a full-featured galley, two enclosed lavatories, separate wardrobes for passengers and crew, and inflight access to 195 cubic feet of luggage space.
The Challenger 350 offers domestic inflight wi-fi, Bombardier's cabin management system and one of the most spacious cabins in its class for up to eight passengers. With its non-stop range of 3,200 nm at speeds up to Mach 0.83, the jet can fly coast-to-coast, and to Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Onboard features include satellite phone, a spacious galley and inflight luggage access.
