Bombardier showed its support for women in aviation, when it awarded four pilot and one maintenance training scholarships at the 17th annual Women in Aviation International convention, which it has sponsored for the past seven years.
At the convention's business aviation banquet, it awarded one initial type maintenance course for the Bombardier Challenger 604, two initial pilot training courses for the Learjet 31A and two more for the CRJ200 aircraft. The training will be provided at Bombardier's training centres in Montreal and Dallas/Fort Worth.
